Pierre-Alain Clément
Pierre-Alain Clément , Swiss politician , born the April 21st 1951, originating in Ependes.
Bachelor of arts and mathematics professor with the Cycle of Orientation of Jolimont, it is active in the sportsman mediums and of the teaching trade unionism. President of the Socialist party of the Town of Freiburg of 1987 to 1996, it elected with the General advice of Freiburg in 1986 and chairs this authority during the year 1992-1993. Like Member of the financial Commission, it obtained the restitution by the cantonal State of 7 franc million at the city. It enters to the Grand the Council in 1989. It chairs the Commission of the graces of this assembly. With died of Marcel Clerk in 1999, he becomes communal adviser and vice-syndic in load of finances. April 8th, 2006, it is indicated by his colleagues as a 23e Syndic (mayor). He is the first Socialist to cover this load.
He had tried without success to be elected with the Prefecture of the district of the Sarine in 1996 and with the National council in 1999.
August 27th, 2007, Pierre-Alain Clément is warned forgery in the titles by an examining magistrate, in an investigation relating to the crisis of the pension fund of the personnel of the Town of Freiburg.
