Pier Luigi Nervi (born the June 21st 1891 with Sondrio, in Lombardy - died the January 9th 1979 with Rome) was a Architecte and Engineer Italy N, considered as one of most significant of the 20th century.

Biography

Pier Luigi Nervi studied architecture with the Université of Bologna, which it left graduate in 1913.

Its inventions, in particular in the field of the Reinforced concrete, enabled him to solve in an esthetic way of the architectonic values hitherto insoluble. One of its first important achievements was the Stade Artemio Franchi of Florence, built between 1929 and 1932. It also built the auditorium Paul VI in 1969. ----
