Pier Carpi

Pier Carpi , born the January 16th 1940 with Scandiano (Italy) and deceased the July 26th 2000 is an Italian scenario writer who has work in multiple fields.

Biography

Apart from the data base, he wrote film scenarios, novels and he even created a review on the Horror.

1963: it starts its career for Disney (Topolino).
1970: it creates with his friend Alfredo Castelli (creative of Martin Mystère) the review Horror then starts a journalistic career which will take it along in the majority of the daily newspapers while passing by the SPOKE.

One can see his trace in the famous review Linus like at Bonelli (Dylan Dog, Martin Mystère, Zona X) and obviously for Astorina and his character fetish: Diabolik. Besides one owes him good number of adaptations in novel of this hero . He also wrote scenarios for cd. Comics (Batman, Superman…).

At Lug, it created Dick Demon , Morgane , Sibilla and Bob Lance . For My Newspaper, it scénarisé the Motorcyclist published in the origin in the Corriere beyond will be . It also had a leading activity in the satirical newspaper Bertoldo published by Sansoni. More recently, it had been primarily devoted to the writing of novels. Adaptations of Diabolik, books on the secret societies or Cagliostro or prophecies of the Pope Jean XXIII (translated into French) while passing through the Kennedy, it approached quantity of subjects as various as varied. It even tasted with the writing for the theater and the cinema: One will ombra nell' will ombra or Cagliostro with Curd Jurgens, Povero Cristo, Irene Papas. It was able to pass from the drama to the comedy as titles of the style the pope shows it on vacation or Mandrake in Dallas . ----
