Piedras Negras

Piedras Negras (literally in Spanish black stones ) is a city located at the north of the Mexico, at the border with the the United States. The Río Grande separates Piedras Negras from the city texane of Eagle Pass. The geographical location is 28,71°Nord 100,53°Ouest. In 2003, the city counted approximately 132.900 inhabitants.

Before the Mexican Revolution, Piedras Negras named Ciudad Porfirio Díaz ( to see: Porfirio Díaz). The April 5th 2004 important Inondation S took place there.
