Piedicorte-di-Gaggio
Piedicorte-di-Gaggio ( Piedicorte di Caghju in Corsican Language) is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Corse and the Corsica area .
Geography
Situation
The village is located at equal distance from Corte and Aléria on a headland with approximately 740m of altitude on the slope of Assembles Gaggio (1085m). Seen sky the village seems emerging from an ocean of chestnuts. The village dominates the valley of the Tavignano between the area of the Bozio in north, Venacais in south-west and the Eastern Plain in the east.
