PicoBSD

PicoBSD is a Operating system holding on a diskette, based on the branch FreeBSD 3.0-current.

The necessary minimal material is a 386SX with 8 Mo of RAM. No Hard drive is necessary because the system is not installed but charged since the diskette. The principle is the same one as that of the systems in the form of livecd.

The last version available is the 0.42.

Versions

PicoBSD exists under several versions:

a version connection to the request ( Dialup Version ).
a version network ( Networking Version ).
a version router ( Router Version ).
a version waiter of connection ( Dial-in server version ), nonstable.
