Synopsis

Silent film made with Benidorm on the Costa Blanca close to Alicante in Spain. Lucia Sanchez carries there an incisive glance, humorous and vitriolized, on a concreted seaside resort.

Comment

In this small film rate/rhythm like small a Musical comedy, Lucia Sanchez films the concreted rabbit cages of Spain of the south with a masterliness which evokes Playtime Jacques Tati. It makes dance under its camera the growing old bodies tourists who persist in seeing in the bronzette and the sun pomades baths a last word in happiness.

The muscular assembly and the solid structure of this small film make of it a small jewel of the experimental Film.

This film, diffused on Arte the June 25th 2005 will be then projected within the framework of the Festival Paris Cinéma.
