Piccadilly (film)
Piccadilly is a British film carried out by Ewald André Dupont, left in 1929.
In its original version of 1929 the film lasted 92 minutes, but Milestone Films brought out film on the British screens in 2004, in a restored version 110 minutes carried out by the British Film Institute. In 2005, the film left in DVD ( The Milestone Collection ).
Synopsis
The principal attraction of the Piccadilly Club is the duet of dancers formed by Mabel Greenfield and Victor Smiles. Victor éprend of Mabel, but the latter pushes back its advances, since it fell in love with Valentine Wilmot, the owner of the club. One night, whereas Victor and Mabel are on scene, a customer disturbs the club because of a dish which it known as dirty. When Valentine Wilmot turns over in kitchen to inquire into the founded good of criticism, he sees in the back-kitchen several employees looking at Shosho, one of plunger, to dance on the table. This night there, Valentine Wilmot lays off Victor Smiles and Shosho. But the failing notoriety of the club will quickly forecra it to reconsider the talent of Shosho.
