Piauí
The Piauí (pronunciation IPA: / pi.aw. 'I /) of the States Brésil, located in the north-eastern area of the country is one, in the arid area of the Sertão.
Piauí is poorest of all the Brazilian States, a situation which was constant since the beginnings of Portuguese colonization with XVIe century. The State practically does not have industry, and depends almost entirely on agriculture, mainly the breeding of cattle. History
