Piła

Piła (German in the past Schneidemühl ) is a town of Poland, in the voïévodie of Large-Poland of which it is the 4th more big city. The Piła village obtained the statute of the city in 1513. A Polish hero and philosopher Stanislaw Staszic was born in Piła.

History

It is in 1513 that the king de Pologne Sigismond Ier '' the Old man '' grants has Piła by the decree of the March 4th the statute of city and the same municipal rights that the inhabitants of Magdeburg obtained.

In 1834, a large fire destroyed the city.

Education

Piła is re-elected by its business school ( Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu ).
