Phytolaccaceae

The family of the Phytolaccacées is a family of plants Dicotylédone S which includes/understands a hundred species divided into 15 kinds:

  • Anisomeria, Ercilla, Gallesia, Gisekia, Hilleria, Ledenbergia, Lophiocarpus, Microtea, Monococcus, Petiveria, Phytolacca, Rivina, Schindleria, Seguieria, Trichostigma .
They are primarily herbaceous plants or shrubs, trees, lianas, annual or perennial, mainly of the subtropics to tropical.

The phylogenetic Classification separates the family from it from the Achatocarpacée S, on the other hand the kind Agdestis previously classified in Agdesticacées was built-in there.
