The physical anthropology , or anthropobiology , is the science which studies the human groups from the physical point of view.

In France, the Anthropologie a long time indicated the physical anthropology, which is now only one of its many disciplines.

The physical anthropology studies the diversity of the morphology and the Physiologie of the human groups, as well as the biological bases of the behavior of human, in particular by comparison with the close relatives of the mankind: the large Asian monkeys and African (Primatologie).

These studies, supplemented by those of Hominides Fossil S, like by the recent projections of the Genetic of the populations, help to include/understand the evolutionary process which led to the Homo sapiens sapiens and with the genetic Diversité of the Humanité.
