Phylogenetic network

A phylogenetic network indicates a graph used to visualize the relations related to the evolution between species or organizations. It must be employed when intervene of the events of Hybridation S, of horizontal transfers of genes, or genetic recombinations. Even in the absence of such events évolutionnaires, the phylogenetic networks can be useful, to represent for example the consensus of several phylogenetic trees (trees which constitutes a subset of the phylogenetic networks besides).
