see also: Etymology of Photometer
A photometer is an apparatus being used to measure the luminous sizes according to the curve of sensitivity of the eye (photopic curve for a diurnal answer and scotopic curve for a night answer). It differs thus from the radiometer which measures the electromagnetic radiations in an objective way.
For that, it lays out either of a Electric eye, or of sensors CCC. In both cases, the Capteur S convert into running electric measurable the received light.
