The organizations photohétérotrophes develop by Photosynthèse. They depend on organic sources of carbon and organic donors of electrons, but assimilate the CO₂ in the presence of a donor of electrons. It is the case of Bactérie S present in the lakes and the rivers strongly polluted by Organic matters like the bacteria nonsulfurous purples and green.
