The Phocide (in Greek old: Φωκίς/ Phôkís , in Greek modern Φωκίδα/ Phôkída ) is small area of Greece central, with west of Béotie, of which role in history Greek was important, since Delphes was there, of which it lost sometimes control, by implying in the crowned Guerres.

History

Phocide fought for its independence in the Third War crowned, but it ends up being subjected by Philippe II of Macedonia in 346.
