Phoberomys pattersoni
The Phoberomys pattersoni was a Rongeur which lived in the delta of old the Orénoque, more or less eight million years ago.
Description
A quasi complete skeleton of the Phoberomys , discovered Urumaco, the Venezuela in 2000, made it possible to the researchers to reconstitute his size, its aspect and its probable lifestyle. It was 3 meters long, with in more one tail of 1,5 Mr., and weighed approximately 700 kilos, which makes of him the largest known rodent. As many other rodents, Phoberomys was Herbivore.
