Philomène Cadoret
Philomène Cadoret (1892 - 1923) was born on July 24th 1892 with Bonen, Cornwall, where she followed the occupation of dressmaker. Guest, for this reason, with many marriages, it sang her own compositions. She wrote under the pseudonym Koulmig Arvor a collection of poetries of a great freshness of inspiration: Mouez Meneoù Kerne.
Its life was short and dramatic since she died in 31 years. After having married its adoptive son which will return from the tuberculous face, it will have a little girl which will die the same year as it, after him.
She was published in the review Kroaz rear Vretoned and noticed by Anatole Braz which is moved by the voice by this young singer in traditional costume.
Its works are impregnated Christian feelings and of love of the native ground.
