Philly Joe Jones
Philly Joe Jones was a Batteur of Jazz American born in 1923 and died in 1985. Its nickname " Philly" comes from the name of its town of origin: Philadelphia and made it possible to avoid any confusion with OJ Jones, the beater of Count Basie. He played with all the large musicians of the Be-bop and the jazz of post-war period: Miles Davis, Bill Evans, etc Its principal influence was Tadd Dameron. And to the artistic movement fluxus belonged.
