Philippe Struxiano

Philippe Struxiano (known as Struc , or Intractable the ) is a player of Rugby, born the March 11th 1891 with Toulouse, dead the April 21st 1956 also in the pink city , half of fray.

Biography

In national team

  • Replacing in the national team of football in 1910.
  • Seven selections in national team of Rugby to XV, 1913 with 1920, 6 times captain (record!!) during its international career… but its bad relationship with the official ones of the federation involved its voluntary departure, in spite of the petitions of the Foch marshal and the general Weygand (it was to some extent the first " rebelle" French Rugby)!
    Il belonged to the first team of victorious France on the grounds of a home union (in Ireland in 1920).
