Philippe Raynaud is a political economist French political specialist in Philosophie.
Career
Philippe Raynaud is former student of the National university of Saint-Cloud, aggregate of Philosophie and political sciences, and doctor in political sciences.
He is currently Professor of the universities in political Philosophie with the university of Paris-II the Pantheon-Assas. He also teaches with the École of the high studies in social sciences (EHESS), with the Research center policies Raymond Aron, like with the institute of political studies of Paris.
He is member of the Academic institute of France since 2004.
He collaborated in various reviews, in particular Droits and the Revue Tocqueville , and directed with Stephan Rials the Dictionnaire of political philosophy of the university Presses of France.
He is in addition president of the Fondation of March 2nd, a republican think tank.
Work
Its research related to the Libéralisme and the republican thought in Europe and America. It carried out a critic of the Multiculturalisme, increasing place of the Droit in the company, and of the problematic articulation between the policies of Public health and the Individual freedoms.
It published work on the “new radicalities” and the pluralism of the Extreme left.
He also worked on political philosophy in the work of Friedrich Nietzsche and published on the philosophy of civility.
He prefaced or published texts of Kant, Vico, Burke, Constant, Weber, Kelsen, Aron and Papaioannou.
