Philippe Ramos (born in 1964) is a Réalisateur and Scénariste of cinema.
It carried out two films: a feature-length film “ Good-bye country ” (2002) with Philippe Garziano, Frederic Bonpart and Anne Azoulay and a medium-length film “ Captain Achab ” adapted Hermann Melville with Frederic Bonpart (in the role of Achab) and Valerie Crunchant (role of Louise).
This film obtained the price of the press to the festival of short film of Paris (2003) and to the festival of short film of Pantin (2004).
“Good-bye country” left in room and it met a success too limited near the public. Capitaine Achab, diffused in several festival was the subject of a diffusion on the Arte chain in the series “Portraits”. He was the subject of a reception noticed by the press (Release and the inrrockuptibles ones) at the time of About fifteen the realizers 2004 with the Cannes festival.
Philippe Ramos forms part with Yves Caumon, Jean-Paul Civeyrac, Alain Guiraudie, Laurent Achard, Serge Bozon and Jean-Charles Fitoussi of a new generation of the cinema of French author.
Following Captain Achab, and on the same topic, Philippe Ramos carried out a feature-length film turned in 2006 with Valerie Crunchant, Frederic Bonpart and Bernard Blancan and for which it obtained the Price of the setting in scene to the Festival of Locarno 2007.
