Biography

It was born in 1428 with the castle from Rochepot, it is the grandson of Régnier Pot, chamberlain of the duke of Burgundy Philippe Bold the, crossed and knight of the Golden Fleece. Its godfather is Philippe the Good, heir to the duchy. That is worth to him to be high at the court of Dijon, then to be high with the rank of first adviser of the duke. The General states were quickly dissolved. Philippe Pot nevertheless was maintained in his function of governor of Burgundy until his death, in 1493.
