Philippe Nicolas Marie de Pâris
Philippe Nicolas Marie de Pâris , born with Paris, the November 12th 1763 and died in Forging mill-the-Water, the January 31st 1793, is noble a royalist French.
It is one of the “knights to the dagger” belonging to the constitutional Garde of the King, without employment after the dissolution of this one. Burning royalist, Philippe Nicolas Marie de Pâris decides to assassinate one of the deputies of the Convention which has just voted for the death of the king at the time of the Procès from Louis XVI. Not being able to approach Philippe of Orleans (1747-1793) it kills out of a blow of saber Louis-Michel Lepeletier de Saint-Fargeau in a restaurant located at the Palais Royal, on January 20th, 1793. it hid a few days in the Palais Royal at its mistress, parfumeuse. It tries to flee towards the England, but recognized by a rabbit merchant who had been shocked to intend it to insult the Revolution, it draws a blow from gun to the head. The rabbit merchant touched a premium of 1200 pounds by Convention in reward of his denunciation.
