Philippe Morillon , born the October 24th 1935 with Casablanca with the Morocco, was a soldier of active, with the General rank of , before becoming a Politician French.

Biography

  • Philippe Morillon is graduate of Supélec (promotion 1964). In 1956, it enters to the military academy of Saint-Cyr military school and in 1974 to the school of the State major. Between 1984 and 1986, he was military adviser of the National Assembly.

  • It had as a successor at this station the Belgian general Francis Briquemont, of July 1st 1993 with the January 24th 1994.

  • Of 1994 with 1996, he becomes the commander of the Force of fast action. Philippe Morillon leaves the army in 1997 with the General rank of (5 stars).

  • Catholic, it is in charge of logistics for the preparation of the World Journées of Youth (JMJ) in Paris in August 1997.

  • the Morillon General is Member of the Commission of the foreign affairs, the human rights, common safety and the defense policy and temporary member of the commission of the co-operation and the development. He sits at the equal interparliamentary Parliament between the Africa-Caribbean-Pacific zone and the European Union and at the Euro-Mediterranean forum. He leads the delegation of the European Parliament the parliamentary Parliament of NATO.
