Biography

Swimmer “average” bachelor in US Melun, Philippe Lucas directs himself very early towards the drive, starting from 1983. “I was a rod” will say itself Lucas concerning his career of swimmer. He discovers all the same the high level in 1977 with a passage to the INSEP. Thus, as of the 20 years age, he becomes trainer in US Melun then passes to CN Melun Dammarie in 1990, at the time of the constitution of this new club sharing the infrastructures of Melun and Dammarie-the-Lily; the club became then Cercle of the swimmers of Melun Val of the Seine following the adhesion of other communes to the regrouping.

It obtains convincing results with several swimmers: Julia Reggiany (selected with the Olympic Games of 1992 and today its wife), Nadege Cliton (selected with OJ of 1996), David Abrard (selected with the OJ of 1996), Alena Popchanka (European title in small basin on 100 and 200 meters in 2002).
