Philippe Labro

Philippe Labro (born with Montauban the August 27th 1936) is a writer, journalist, French realizer and also author of songs (for Johnny Hallyday - for which it writes a whole album in 1971 " Red-handed " - and for Henri Salvador.

At 18 years, it leaves to study in Virginia. It benefits from it to travel through all United States. Of return in Europe, it becomes to defer to Europe 1 and France Soir thanks to the emission of Pierre Laforêt, entitled " Cut of Reporters". Pierre Laforêt being itself journalist, realizer and author of many creations on Europe 1. Soldier of 1960 with 1962 during the war of Algeria, Philippe Labro takes again then his activities of journalist for the account of RTL, Paris-Match, TF1 and Antenne 2. He writes and carries out several films. Of 1985 with 2000, it directs the programs of RTL for then becoming vice-president of the station (1992). March 31st 2005, it launches with Vincent Bolloré, Direct 8, a new television channel diffused on TNT.
