Philippe Keep (American football)

Philippe Keeps , born the March 24th 1979, is a French player of American football. This linebacker makes 107 kilos for 1,86 meter. He is the third French player to evolve/move in NFL after Richard Tardits (1988 - 1992) and Marc-Angelo Soumah (2003).

Biography

Excel ski or, Philippe Gardent comes tardily to American football (17 years) but it joined quickly the team of France juniors following its services with the Centaures of Grenoble. It is selected in TEAM Europe to take part in Total Championship. He is elected better defensive player of this competition. He joined then the Argonautes of Aix-en-Provence with which he is champion of France in 2001 and 2002. He is indicated these two seasons there like best the linebacker of the championship of France.

He takes part in a camp of drive of NFL Europe in February 2003 and joined the Berlin Thunder. With Berlin, it gains World Bowl in 2004. Simultaneously with its career in NFL Europe there remain laid off in French clubs, Argonautes or Cougars Saint-Ouen-the Alms (season 2004 - 2005).
