Philippe II of Savoy
Philippe II of Savoy , known as Without Ground , also called Philippe of Bresse, born with Chambéry the February 5th 1438, died with Chambéry the November 7th 1497, was count of Bresse, then duke of Savoy, prince de Piémont, count d' Aoste and of Maurienne of 1496 with 1496. It was wire of Louis Ier, duke of Savoy, prince de Piémont, count d' Aoste and of Maurienne, and Anne de Lusignan.
It started by revolting against his father, but was overcome and Louis XI, on the request of his/her father, retained it captive with the castle of Loches of 1464 with 1466. Released, it took the party of Charles Bold the against Louis XI. It was one of principal the opponent to the dukes of Savoy and the regents. It ends up becoming duke, in dead of his great nephew Charles II, and died the following year.

He had married with Moulins the April 6th 1472 Marguerite de Bourbon (1438 † 1483), girl of Charles I {{er}}, duke of Bourbon and Agnès of Burgundy. They had:

Widower, it remarie with Mills the November 11th 1485 Claudine of Brush (1450 † 1513), girl of Jean Ier de Brosse, count de Penthièvre, and of Nicole de Châtillon.

- Philiberte (1498 † 1524), married in 1515 with Julien de Médicis (1479 † 1516)
