Philippe Gaumont
Philippe Gaumont (February 22nd 1973 with Amiens) is a former French racing cyclist. Bronze medal with against the watch by team with the OJ of Barcelona (1992), it passes professional in 1994 in the team Castorama. He joined the team Gan in 1996 then Cofidis in 1997. With its prize list, appear a Ghent-Wevelgem in 1997, a victory with the Four days of Dunkirk (1996) and a Tour of Oise (1996). Positive control with the doping products on several occasions (1996, 1998,1999), it is pinned in the Affaire Cofidis in 2004. In 2005, it publishes " Prisoner of the dopage" with the Grasset Editions. It tells its experiment of doping there. According to him, 95% of the professional group are doped. Among the notable exceptions, it quotes David Moncoutié. On the cover of his book, one sees, in the reflection of the glasses, the name of the sponsor of another French team, dependant it also on a famous business of doping (cf Affaire Feasted).
Its Book " Prisoner of the dopage"
