Philippe Flajolet

Philippe Flajolet , born on February 1st 1948, is a French data processing specialist.

He is former student of the Polytechnic school, doctor of data processing of the Université Paris 7 and doctor science. He is research director with the National research institute in data processing and automatically and member of the Academy of Science.

Its principal work in data processing was devoted to the Algorithmique, in particular with the analysis of algorithms.

Philippe Flajolet received various prices, of which the price Michel Monpetit of the Academy of Science and the scientific Grand Prix of the Union of the insurances of Paris.
