Philippe Delerm is a French writer. Born the November 27th 1950 with Auvers-sur-Oise, he is the son of teachers.
Biography
After a happy childhood, it becomes Professor of letters to the Marie Curie college with Bernay. He is the author of the collection of news the first beer mouthful and the father of the song writer and performer Vincent Delerm.He starts to send his first manuscripts since 1976 but runs up against the refusal of the editors. He will have to wait until 1983 to be finally made publish. In 1997, the First mouthful of beer and other pleasures tiny finally enables him to be made known general public.
One finds in his works descriptions of small the riens which make the life. In the First mouthful of beer and other pleasures tiny , it describes with pleasure a scene of life of a quay of station or one transfered in the car… This novel contains in all 35 little stories of two or three each one pages.
Always professor in the town of Bernay, it regularly goes to Rouen in order to seal his thirst for reading in his friends booksellers and publishes also books for children. A lighting test was devoted to him in 2005: Philippe Delerm and positive minimalism (Editions of the Rock, by Remi Bertrand, itself writer).
