Philippe Davaine

Philippe Davaine is a French illustrator born in 1953 in north from France.

He studies architecture before entering to the school of the Art schools de Tourcoing. He works with the realization of several books for children and collaborates with some newspapers of which North-Flash and the World .

He often walks his glance in the street on the faces which offer a multitude of landscapes, on the pavements which conceal treasures of forms, trampled, used, shells forgotten by the great flood of people. Ceratins finish stuck, worked again or such as they are, winks of the memory of its workshop. When the day lengthens, it exchanges its brush against a rake and works with passion the ground of its garden of suburbs.

For Folio junior, it illustrated Poil of carrot of Jules Renard, the novel of Fox II and, for the same collection, several works of science fiction.
