Philippe Courroye
The judge Philippe Courroye (born the January 10th 1959 with Lyon) is first examining magistrate with the financial pole of the Court of Bankruptcy of Paris.
After studies of right and with the Institute of political studies of Paris, it integrates the National school of the magistrature. It leaves in 1985 fourth its promotion (on 232). In December 1986 it is named Examining magistrate with the Court of Bankruptcy of Lyon. Between 1992 and 1994, it informs in particular the businesses concerning the politicians Michel Noir and Alain Carignon. In October 1996, it is promoted substitute of the Public prosecutor sitting at the Court of Appeal of Lyon. The July 20th 1999, it joined the financial pole of the Court of Bankruptcy of Paris like first examining magistrate. For this reason, it informs of many businesses of which those of Pierre Falcone, Charles Pieri or of the Crédit Lyonnais.
He is the examining magistrate of the Affaire of the traffic of weapons towards Angola (Angolagate), of the illegal Financement of RPR (Rassemblement for the Republic), of the French shutter of the Pétrole business against food, of the file Pierre Bedier…
He has just been appointed public prosecutor with the TGI of Nanterre (decree of the Thursday, March 8, 2007 signed by the Minister for Justice, Pascal Clément).
He also exempts the course of " Criminal law of Affaires" with the EM Lyon and Science-Po Paris.
