Philippe Chevrier

Philippe Chevrier born on December 17th 1960 with Geneva, is a Cuisinier Suisse.

Biography

Between 1976 and 1979, it follows a training of kitchen to the restaurant " The Botté" Cat; Hotel Beautiful Shore in Geneva. Its finished studies, it is engaged as clerk of kitchen during two years (initially at the restaurant " Oasis" of Napoule then at the restaurant " Gentilhomme" Richemond hotel) before making two training courses one year each one of training in bakery, then in confectionery pastry making between 1982 and 1983.

In 1984, it spends one year as cook at Frédy Girardet to Crissier before joining the restaurant " Patio" where he is assistant manager of kitchen between 1985 and 1986. In 1987, it is engaged as chef to the Domaine de Châteauvieux with Satigny, of which he becomes also the owner in 1989.

It obtains its 1st macaroon with the Guide Michelin in 1991, the second in 1994. It is made Chevalier about the agricultural Mérite in 1996 and opens the Café of Peney , also in Satigny in 1998. In 2002, it is noted 19/20 with the Gault-Millau and is elected Chef of the year.

In 2003, it takes again the restaurant the Small valley with Conches and opens the Grocer of Châteauvieux in Satigny. The following year, it opens the Domaine of Chouilly , always in the same commune. In 2005, it launches a product range in large surface on sale then, in 2006, a wine range (called " The Wines Philippe Chevrier") in co-operation with wine growers Genevese and worked out by Nicolas Bonnet and the Sucker of Geneva. The same year, it launches gastronomical cruisings on the boat " Savoy " in partnership with the general Company of navigation on the lake Léman.
