Philippe Bidart
Philippe Bidart or Filipe Bidart is an historical leader of the independence movement Basque Iparretarrak, of Marxist tendency.
After seven years of mare, he was condemned twice to the life imprisonment. Once for the murders of two CRS in Saint-Etienne de Baigorry in 1982, whose he always denied his participation in the shooting, another time for the murder of a gendarme with Biscarosse, in 1987. In addition, he was condemned to twenty of reclusion for the murder of a gendarme. He was imprisoned between 1988 and on February 14th, 2007 with the power station of Clairvaux (Paddle), date on which he profited from a release on parole accepted by the court of the application of the sorrows of Paris, which has exclusive competence as regards terrorist businesses, since a law of January 23rd, 2006.
