Philippe Baucheron de Boissoudy

Philippe Baucheron de Boissoudy , born with Gien (Loiret) on February 26th 1830, died with the Holy Father (Nievre) on November 9th 1903, is a general officer of the French Navy.

He took part as commander in the countryside of 1870-1871. From 1872 to 1874, it ordered Kersaint on the benches of Newfoundland, where it was charged as a police chief with the French government to negotiate agreements of fishing with England. Rear-admiral in 1885, it was named Major Général of the Navy and took the command of the armoured division of North. In 1890, it reached the rank of vice-admiral and became General inspector of the Navy. In 1893, it was charged to order the squadron of the Mediterranean and of Raising, and in 1895 was allowed with the General Staff of the Navy. He is the father of the general Antoine Philippe Thomas Joseph Baucheron de Boissoudy.
