Philippe Ball

Philippe Ball , born on October 17th, 1974, is a Design er French resident in Paris whose speciality is to create movable and luminous objects .

It is the precursor in the field of the luminous piece of furniture. It associates with its creations last electronic technologies as regards lighting with like independent source of light the LED (Lighting Emitting Diode) and phosphorescence. In addition, it uses systems of control, amongst other things, the system R.V.B which makes it possible the piece of furniture to pass by all the colors of its choice by the mixing of the Red of the Green and Blue. It is possible to connect the piece of furniture to a computer and thanks to a software to choose the colors on a pallet of several thousands of let us tons as well as rate. One of its last collections revisits the pieces of furniture of old style - Louis XVI, Louis XV… - by this skew. It obtained in 2006 with the Concours Lépine the Medal of the Delegated minister at SME, the Trade, the Craft industry, the Liberal professions and Consumption.

In 2005 it was nominated with the Déco d' Or chaired by Philippe Starck.
