Philippe Avron is a French actor born the September 18th 1928 with the Croisic (Loire-Atlantique).

Biography

Discovering the theater in Avignon while attending a representation d'" Antigone" of Sophocle, assembled by Jean Vilar, it joined then this last and plays, between 1960 and 1964, in parts of Goldoni, Lope de Vega, Molière. Raise of Jacques Lecocq, for whom he always testifies to a great admiration and in the school of which he will teach later, it côtoie Claude Evrard with which he will write humorous number of sketches. This tandem, which initially turned in Parisian cabarets, will be a great success in the years 1970-1975, with passages to Bobino, in Olympia, on the small screen, etc… In same time, Philippe Avron continues his theatrical career, directed by the largest directors (Peter Brook, Benno Besson, Roger Planchon, etc…). He interprets some major characters of the repertory: Hamlet, Sganarelle then Don Juan, etc… In 1980, he in parallel undertakes a career “in solo” with " Pierrot d' Asnières" ; career which will be worth many rewards to him, including 2 times Molière of best the one man show with " I am a saumon" , in 1999 and " The Phantom of Shakespeare" , in 2002. Since 1980, followed one another " Avron Big Bang" , " Dom Juan 2000" , " The Night of the year 2000" (where it finds its accomplices Claude Evrard and Marianne Sergent), " My Court of honneur" , " To laugh Fragile" and in 2007 " My friend Roger".
