Philip Cortelyou Johnson , more known under the name of Philip Johnson , (born the July 8th 1906 with Cleveland, Ohio - died the January 25th 2005 with New Canaan, Connecticut) was a American Architecte considered as one of the major figures of the Modern architecture, then Postmodernisme, and which played, throughout its long career, a role of precursor in the evolution of contemporary architectural art. Its talent was recognized by attribution - in 1979 - Prix Pritzker, of which he was the first prize winner.
