Philip Doddridge
Philip Doddridge is an English theologist non conformist, born with London in 1702, died with Lisbon in 1751
It was devoted to education and worked especially for childhood.
Its principal works are:
- Sermons on the education of the children , 1732;
- Sermons with young people, 1735;
- Interpreter of the families, paraphrase of the Writing , 1739 - 1756;
- Birth and progress of the religion in the heart , 1754;
- Readings on various subjects , 1763;
- a collection of Anthems .
The majority of its writings were translated into French.
