Phil Comeau is a Réalisateur, Scénariste, producing and Acteur Canadian born in 1956 with Saulnierville in Nova Scotia (Canada).

Biography

Realizer Acadie N, Phil Comeau lives Montreal. He carried out several teleseries in Quebec and the United States, and several films on the Acadian ones of which the first acadian feature film independent the secrecy of Jerome in 1994, several times preceded at the international festivals in Europe and the USA. He also carried out the remake of the telesery Sagouine turned to Bouctouche with the New Brunswick, for Radio-Canada. Its popular telesery fiction Tribu.com realized for the Réseau VAT had coasts of listening of 1.3 million listeners at the time of the remote transmissions in Quebec. Globe trotter, Phil Comeau visited more than 50 countries and carried out films in a score.

Phil Comeau received several recognitions: the Price Large-Pre of the Minister for the Culture of Nova Scotia in 1997; the Prix Deserved acadian Federation of Quebec in 1999; the prestigious rank of " Chevalier" Order of Arts and Letters, honorary distinction offered by the Minister for the Culture and Transport of France in 2006; an honorary doctorate in Art schools of the University Holy-Anne, Nova Scotia in 2007, and the badges of the Order of the French-speaking people of America to the National Assembly of Quebec in 2007.
