Phellinaceae

The family of the Phellinacées is a family of plants Dicotylédone S which includes/understands 12 Espèce S of the kind Phelline .

They are trees or shrubs with persistent sheets of the tropical, endemic areas of New Caledonia.

In traditional classification of Cronquist (1981) this family does not exist. The kind Phelline is included in the family of the Aquifoliacées, in the order of the Celastrales .

The phylogenetic classification APG II (2003) locates this family in the order of the Asterales .
