Phase lutéale
The phase lutéale (or progestative) is the phase being located after the Ovulation and lasting until the 28e day of the cycle ovarien. The phase lutéale thus finishes when the Menstruation (period of rules) starts. From the hormonal point of view, the phase lutéale of the menstrual cycle is characterized by the presence of the Progestérone. The Follicule of the follicular phase transforms into yellow Corps at the time of ovulation and during the phase lutéale, the yellow body develops or degenerates if there were not Fécondation.
