Comments
The fourth collaboration between Christin and Bilal, after the Cruising of forgotten the (1975), the Vessel of stone (1976), and the city which did not exist (1977), gives this political graphic novel of which the roots are the war of Spain. The enemies of yesterday take again the fight a few tens of years later, but the ideologies do not have any more the same truth. To nostalgic from the fascistic order, “democrats” will oppose once more by violence. Leant with the History, this continuation with death is the occasion to put questions about certain political systems and their persistence. The apocalyptic end is an answer in the form of dead end.See also Shooting party which treats degeneration of the Soviet system.
