Pezinok

Pezinok (Hungarian Bazin, German Bösing and Latin Bazinium) is a town of western south of Slovakia.

Geography

This city is located at 20 kilometers of Bratislava. In the North-West Trnava is.

The closer cities are:

  • Modra (North-eastern);
  • Limbach (Western). This city is visible since Pezinok, because it is built on the mountainsides Malé Karpaty;
  • Vinosady (between Modra and Pezinok);
  • Viničné (Southern);
  • Šenkvice (Is).

The Cajloch river crosses the village.

One cannot forget the castle of Pezinok and the house of the culture. Most famous is the hospital of Pinnel on the Cajla river.

Culture

Pezinok is the arts center of the area. The theater of Pezinok has a strong tradition. There are also many groups of music.
