Peugeot 305
The Peugeot 305 is a family Automobile produced by the car manufacturer Peugeot of 1977 with 1988.
It was marketed in Europe during the year 1977, as a successor of the Peugeot 304.
Its competitors were at the same time the Ford Escort, the Volkswagen Golf and the Simca Horizon but also because of its generous dimensions the Ford Sierra, Opel Ascona, Volkswagen Passat and Simca 1307 /1308.
It was replaced in 1988 by the Peugeot 405, and not by the Peugeot 309 like its name in " 30x" could let believe it.
Body
It was declined in two models: a Truck 4 doors and a station-wagon. A utility, on the basis of station-wagon but comprising only 2 doors, was also available. It underwent in 1982 important a Restylage, in particular of the headlights before and back, the grill but also of the interior.
Motorizations
For phase 1: one 1,3 L of 65 ch, one 1,5 L of 74 ch and one 1,5 L of 89 ch. For phase 2: the 1,5 L of 89 ch disappears while new engines appear: one 1,6 L of 80 ch (carburizing simple body weber 36 TLP 1/100 simple reversed bodies) and 94 ch (new driving block PSA XU5 with carburettor solex 32/34Z1)) like one 1,9 L of 105 ch (driving XU9 with a carburettor twin spool solex 34/34 Z1 in completion GTX).-

Sales
The sales of Peugeot 305 were important in France and in good of other countries, except in the United Kingdom, where Peugeot considered them disappointing. it was sold approximately 1,8 of them million on the whole.
