Peugeot-Citroen Trémery

Principal Driving production site of S of PSA Peugeot Citroen, the site of Trémery was open in 1979 by Citroen; with the factory of gear boxes of Metz-Borny, it formed the subsidiary company Automobile Société of Mechanics of the East (SMAE).

The site is located on the industrial park of Garolor near the highways A4 and A31, with horse on the communes of Ennery, Hagondange and Trémery.

The site inaugurated the word family diesel HDi with direct Injection. Its 6 lines of assembly produce the diesel families DW and FD, as well as the engines gasoline EW, which equip the majority with the models of group PSA. They succeeded the engines gasoline XU and diesel XUD.

The production assembles in 2005 to 8  000 engines per day. The January 18th 2005, the center produced its 25 millionth engine. First world site of manufacture of diesel engine, it employs approximately 5  000 paid.
