Petrovčić

Petrovčić , in Serb Cyrillic Петровчић, is a locality of Serbia located in the municipality of Surčin, district of Belgrade. In 2002, it counted: 1406 inhabitants.

Petrovčić, located at the east of the municipality, is in extreme cases separating the central Serbia and the autonomous province from Voïvodine. It is in the area of Syrmie, in the north of the forest of Bojčinska , in the west of Bečmen, a few 30 km in the west of the center town of Belgrade and to 12 km in the west of Surčin.

The locality, officially classified among the villages of Serbia, knows a regular population growth (: 1117 inhabitants in 1991).
