Petros Protopapadakis
Petros Protopapadakis (in Greek modern: Πέτρος Πρωτοπαπαδάκης is an engineer and a Greek politician, born in 1859 with Naxos. It makes its studies at the University from Athens then in Paris.
On its return in Greece, he teaches until 1890 before being indicated for the construction of the Canal of Corinth. Then, it is in charge of the construction of several railway lines.
It enters in policy in 1902. It is named Minister for Finance in several governments and becomes Prime Minister of Greece the May 9th 1922.
It is during its mandate that the Greek army collapses at the time of the gréco-Turkish Guerre. Protopapadakis is considered to be responsible for the catastrophe and is carried out in Athens in the morning of the November 28th 1922, just like Dimitrios Gounaris, another Greek Prime Minister.
